Special bioceramics,
Fired from minerals and metals, they react on contact with water and enable mineral ionization. This chemical process gives the water the same properties that it acquires during treatment by electronic water ionization. It becomes more alkaline, oxygen-rich and antioxidant.
Wellsan PH water filter advantages:
- Raises pH and creates small molecule structured ionized water.

Wellsan's Active Carbon Filter is one of the few passive filters that produces alkaline (7~9 pH), antioxidant and oxygen-rich water. Furthermore, the filter system manufactured by Wellsan achieves a reduction in pollutants in the water of up to 99%.
Note: Depending on the mineral composition of the water, the ionization performance may vary. Therefore, a high ionization performance cannot always be guaranteed, which is why a low to very low pH value and/or a redox value in the plus range are also possible.
The tap water passes through seven filtration stages
First, the finest particles are retained by a super-fine fleece fabric pad, after which the water passes through the filter mixture, which consists of tiny activated carbon beads and ion exchangers. The activated carbon beads are made from natural coconut shells and retain chlorine and other odor- and taste-impairing substances in particular. The ion exchangers reduce the limescale content of the water.
The filter only needs to be changed every 2 months.This protects the environment. Water is often bought in inexpensive disposable plastic bottles. However, this convenience leaves its mark on the environment. Because water from plastic bottles causes mountains of plastic waste. Worldwide, around 89 billion liters of water are filled into plastic bottles every year. 80 percent of these bottles are not recycled. In addition, the production of a plastic bottle consumes an extremely large amount of energy and clean water. From an ecological point of view, the production of disposable plastic bottles for drinking water makes absolutely no sense. With the Wellsan carafe, you can produce quality water and do your bit for the environment at the same time. This is because the carafe works with a single filter cartridge.
